Yesterday two experiences stuck in our minds:
First was a lecture by the MITU foundation about menstrual hygiene and the barriers women Dave with safe sanitary disposal of menstrual products and even knowledge about menarche.
Second, we had an opportunity to see the zero waste goal projects at the University including a food waste to cooking oil unit as well as composting area and homemade recycled paper units.
Today we went to a village site with women’s empowerment self help groups started in 2002 in collaboration with the Center for Social Action.
